On 1969 - Trinity becomes a member of the Progressive National Baptist Convention, Inc. 1970 - As a result of continual growth in membership, TMBC holds service for two years in a converted theater in 1972 - TMBC becomes a member of the Pacific Southwest Region of American Baptist Churches. Over the next five years Trinity worships in a tent located in Pearl City. 1983 - The Voices of Trinity records two gospel music albums. 1986 - The congregation moved to its new 800-seat sanctuary. 1993 - The Reverend Rubin L. Creel Child Care Ministry was developed. 1997 - Air conditioning is installed in the main sanctuary and an illuminating marquee board is also installed on the Church's lawn. 1999 - The “Phone Tree”, automated voice message delivery system is installed. 2002 - The former sanctuary is renovated and converted into the Administrative Office. 2003 - The 2004 - Minister Alexis Conner becomes the first ordained female minister at TMBC. Also, the Church begin annual participation in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade. 2005 - During an eighteen month transtion, Reverends Alexis Conner, Jack Fields, Chris Keesee, Timothy Murray and Latonia Parker seves the pastoral needs of the congregation.
2008 - TMBC celebrates it's 40th Anniversary. |
